TheGivingRing.com

Dear Friend,

This social entrepreneurship was launched in 2006 as a memorial to my beloved Mum. I wanted to honor her life... and to shift the focus of mine.

TheGivingRing.com has brought me more joy than I could have believed and, in the process, connected hundreds of Giving Ring purchasers to thousands of people around the globe. We funded fair trade artists in Nepal for five years. We donated thousands of dollars to small non-profits in ten countries. It has been remarkable fun.

In June 2011, my fair trade partnership in Nepal came to a close. I contemplated ending TheGivingRing.com, but I truly feel that our best work on behalf of our beneficiaries is yet to be. I've regrouped and am now producing the Giving Ring through a lost wax casting process in my hometown of Seattle, one ring at a time.

The "new" Giving Ring, Columba, is the original design that we used as the template for the Nepali ring in 2006. The second "in development" Giving Ring, Revolve, will be available in 2012 and will assist nonprofit organizations who nurture and protect the non-human beings of this amazing earth.

Our rings are made by hand of recycled metals and gemstones acquired from reputable, respected sources.

Thanks for your interest in what we do. Please help by purchasing a ring or by donating directly to the beneficiaries we support.

May you have peace within and without,

Susan Quattrociocchi
